We may live in a capitalist world that is hastening the apocalypse, albeit quite a boring and long-winded one, but I am surprised how little you can purchase that is related to the situation.
The Help The Normals stickers are a companion piece to the collecting can of my fictional charity 'Help The Normals'. This art is a challenge to the assumptions about who should be pitied. Normal people voted for Brexit, for Boris Johnson, and normal people are hastening climate collapse because it is inconvenient to them. Surely it is those who are ushering in mediocre apocalypse after mediocre apocalypse who should be pitied.
For those of us who have survived several apocalypses and have nothing to show for it, I present you the Apocalypse Loyalty Card. The perfect gift for our times!
Dolly Sen has a brain of ill-repute. Because of this she is a writer, artist, performer and filmmaker. Since 2004 she has exhibited and performed inernationally. Her films have also been shown worldwite. Her journey as an artist has taken her up a tree in Regents Park, to California's Death Row, to the Barbican, Tower Bridge and the Royal Academy, Trafalgar Square, and up a ladder to screw a lightbulb into the sky. More recently, she has sectioned the DWP and has confronted misogyny wearing a clitoris hat. Dolly's creativity aims to put normality over her lap and slap its naughty arse.
